Exploring measurement


We explored 'non-standard' units of measurement to measure different things in Room 15.


We measured the length of the classroom in James'.


We used Bilbo's stick to measure the length of Little Red Riding Hood.


We used 'the cat in the hat' to measure the length of the cloakroom.

Estimating and weighing

We explored estimation earlier this week. We guessed which objects were heavier than others and then used the scales like a see-saw to find out which one was the heaviest.
The heaviest side went down and the lightest side went up.
