What does it take to make?


Room 15 have loved reading the time on the classroom clock but there is no clock outside to read the time at lunchtime. We explored the idea of making a sundial by searching for an image of one on google images. 


Everyone drew a design of what they wanted the sundial to look like and labelled what equipment they would use.





We recorded all the equipment we thought we might need onto a concept map (which looks like a brainstorm). We ticked the things if we knew we had access to and crossed out the things we didn't have or know where to get. 



We worked in teams to paint the round, wooden clock faces.
