Our sand tray turned into an 'ice tray' for the morning so we could investigate how ice floats in water.
Vesper and Benjamin poured water onto the big chunk of ice while everyone crowded around and to watch Illia test if the ice was floating.
Children observed that the large ice cube started breaking up in the water.
Benjamin wondered why the ice broke up because he thinks big icebergs are strong and stay together.
