'Air to Live' with Harold the Giraffe

We visited Harold the giraffe's bus today to learn about 'how we breathe'.

Harold told us he was going diving in the ocean and we helped him to remember to take a snorkel so he could breathe while underwater.

We looked at TEM whose lungs were glowing.
When we breathe air in our mouths or noses it fills our lungs with 'oxygen'.

We helped create a respiratory cycle.
Trees produce the oxygen the breathe which goes into our lungs and then into our blood.

We are lucky at Ilam school to have so many 'oxygen producing' trees to help us breathe clean fresh air.

We look forward to visiting Harold again next Wednesday.
